Job Electrician, Windsor

**Industrial Electrician (442A / 309A)** **Overview** We're looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this hands-on role, you'll install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently. You'll work on PLC-controlled equipment, support preventive maintenance, and respond to breakdowns in a 24/7 operation. **What You'll Do** + Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints + Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems + Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using testing tools and PLCs + Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime + Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns + Maintain accurate maintenance records + Support equipment upgrades and improvement projects + Mentor apprentices and support team development + Follow all electrical codes, safety standards, and site procedures **What You Bring** + Valid 442A or 309A Electrician license (CofQ) + 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience + Strong troubleshooting skills with industrial electrical systems + Experience with PLCs and automated equipment + Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings + Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards + Strong communication and teamwork skills **Nice to have:** + Experience in metal processing, stamping, or die casting + Familiarity with extrusion presses, conveyors, and material handling systems + Experience mentoring apprentices **Why Join Us** + Competitive pay and full benefits (health, dental, vision) + RRSP matching from day one + Life insurance and EAP support + Boot allowance and safety-focused environment + Stable, long-term opportunity in a production-driven facility **Schedule** + Continental rotating schedule + 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, days and nights) + Overtime as required **Work Environment** You'll work in a busy aluminum extrusion facility supporting automotive production. The environment is hands-on and fast-paced, with work on: + PLC-controlled presses and automation systems + Conveyors, saws, and material handling equipment + Sensors, interlocks, and machine safety systems **Expect a physically active role in an industrial setting with noise, heat, and heavy equipment.
